Successfully Helping Injured People in Montana for More Than 40 Years

Two people recently suffered injuries in an accident that took place in Montana. The two involved in the car accident had to be hospitalized, which might be similar to what happened to you following your car crash. In your case, speaking with someone about your legal rights may help you seek the compensation you need to pay for medical bills and ongoing care for your injuries.

The accident, which took place on the morning of July 14, happened when a mother and daughter heading east on I-90 swerved to avoid a vehicle that had entered their lane. The Montana Highway Patrol sergeant on the scene reported that when the mother swerved, she ended up rolling her vehicle in the median. A report stated that the two people in this accident were fortunate that their injuries weren’t worse.

The police said that the mother and daughter could have faced ejection if they hadn’t been wearing their seat belts. Instead, they faced bruises and minor cuts, the news stated. The driver of the other vehicle was reportedly at the scene and was not injured. There was no collision between the two cars during the accident.

The driver from the other lane allegedly admitted that he had swerved into the lane in which the other vehicle was traveling, causing the mother to swerve. The police have not reported on whether they will be filing charges against the driver who caused the accident. If the police are still investigating the incident, any findings about negligence or distractions could lead to a charge. Additionally, that driver could face a civil lawsuit if the mother chooses to pursue it.
