Woman killed, man injured in early morning rollover

A 25-year-old woman was killed in a fatal car accident that happened on a road south of Ashland on the morning of Sept. 19. Official reports indicate that the accident was a rollover that was precipitated by driver overcorrection while driving. The single-car accident also injured a 29-year-old man, who was behind the wheel of the pickup at the time of the crash.

Remington comes under fire after documents released

More documents are coming out in connection with a Remington Arms Company products liability case, according to information out of Butte this week. Earlier in the month, a district court in the region had decided to release formerly sealed documents in connection with the Aleksich v. Remington case, which involves an incident where a teenager was wounded using the Model 700 rifle.

Man faces vehicular homicide in hitchhiker death

A man from South Dakota is facing serious criminal charges in connection with a car accident that killed a hitchhiker who was a passenger in his vehicle. The man, age 65, was reportedly not in police custody when the charges were filed, and so a warrant for his arrest was issued.

Montana rollover crash kills two adults, injures two children

A recent rollover crash killed a woman from Hardin, and the driver of the car in the single-vehicle wreck died shortly after. The 25-year-old woman, who was the passenger in the vehicle, was reportedly not wearing her seat belt during the car accident.
